A note about our vintage velo's

All Items are genuine vintage and whilst in full working order, may also so show signs of age or own some distinguishing marks. As well as these signs of character  there may also be some signs of rust (faint and few) and some signs of mottling on the chrome. We're possible we have tried to show these on photographs. These small imperfections and are commensurate with what is expected of a bike of this age.The bikes are not new.

“1972 Mercier Special Tour de France. About this bike. A bike of this age and pedigree can rarely survive the years without having those telling signs of useage and wear and tear and at the end of the days, this bike is not NOS, it is second hand , maybe even third hand or more. As such it does have a few scrapes, scratches, rust and mottling marks. In particular and most notably are on the Drive side, a small chip on the front crown, chips and marks on the rear stays and a small scratch on the down tube. On the Non drive side, there is a mark on the rear stay. Of course all of the entry points shows signs of use, markings from screws , pressure etc – this is true of every bike of this age. The closer you look, the more you might see tiny marks, they are there but for me, they add to the character. The bike has had a previous life, you can be the one to let it be enjoyed again )Note : Gold Line through logo and decals is the design on this bike , its not a mark.”
