de Gribaldy Vintage Racing Bike

for sale

This bike is from the stable of the legendary French Cyclist and Directeur Sportif , Jean de Gribaldy. It dates to the late 1970’s/ early 1980’s and features a beautiful Shimano 600 Arabesque group set

Constructed with Vitus 788 steel tubing, this bike is a joy to ride and one of the most comfortable steel bikes I have ridden. With all the panache you’d expect from a French bike , not only does this bike ooze  sophistication, it gives the owner the thrill of riding something that has passed through the hands the legend of Besançon.

A note about our vintage velo's

All Items are genuine vintage and whilst in full working order, may also so show signs of age or own some distinguishing marks. As well as these signs of character  there may also be some signs of rust (faint and few) and some signs of mottling on the chrome. We're possible we have tried to show these on photographs. These small imperfections and are commensurate with what is expected of a bike of this age.The bikes are not new.
